Gastric ulceration evening

11th January 2019

Oaklands Equine Hospital are hosting an event for anyone who is interested in learning more about equine gastric ulceration syndrome.

This is a common disease in foals and horses and can occur at any time in a horses life, no matter the breed.

Event details:

Date: Wednesday 6th February

Time: Doors open at 7pm and light refreshments will be served prior to the talk beginning at 7.30pm.

Location:

Sporting Lodge Inns
Low Lane
Stainton Village
Middlesborough
Teeside
TS17 9LW.

Please call 01642 760313 by 29th January to book your free place.

Thanks to a generous sponsorship by Norbrook we will be offering everyone a voucher for £100 off gastroscopy at Oaklands Equine Hospital (one per horse). Following discussion with a vet this can enable clients bringing horses for gastroscopy to receive a £100 discount.

We’d love to see as many of you as possible so please come along!

Option to pay by direct debit

26th October 2018

We are pleased to announce that we are now able to offer our equine clients the option to pay their account by direct debit.

We hope this option will make it easier for clients to pay their account.

Unfortunately this is not an option to our small animal clients as of yet.

If you would like to pay by direct debit, you can download our direct debit mandate here (DOC 279KB).

Our new equine ambassadors

15th January 2018

At the beginning of December we launched a competition to find an ambassador for Oaklands Equine Hospital.

We are proud to announce that the winners were Libby and her family, who will be posting monthly blogs on our Facebook page about all of their horsey adventures.

To read about our new equine ambassadors, please visit our equine ambassadors page or our Facebook page.

Could you be our equine ambassador?

1st December 2017

Girl with brown horse in fieldWe are looking for a partnership to represent Oaklands Equine Hospital across the North East and beyond. All we require from you is to post a monthly blog on our Facebook page so we can all share your adventures. In return we will provide a free subscription to our MiHorse Club* for one year and some goodies for you and your horse.

Think you have what it takes to be our ambassador for 2018?

Follow us on Facebook and apply by 8th December to heather.sanders@oaklandsvets.co.uk with some photos of you and your horse along with the reason why we should choose you. The lucky pair will be chosen by Facebook poll and we’ll announce the winner at the start of 2018!
